SANSEI Subsidy ApplicationsThe Japanese Government currently provides about 35 types of company subsidy fund plans. Some hold restrictions according to region or industry, whereas SANSEI selects and recommends the following for common availability:
1. Extended Employment
Continuing Employment Incentive Fund: ¥300,000-¥15,000,000. For companies espousing employment articles for “Extension of Retirement Age” or “Rehiring” for employees aged over 60, and which has employed a worker aged 55-64 for at least one year.
2. New Employment
Developing Applicants for Employment Fund: from 25–50% of salaries or wages for 1-1 ½ years. For companies employing long-term any senior citizens, disabled persons, or single-again mothers, as mediated by the Public Employment Security Office (PESO).
Emerging and Growing Business Employment Incentive Fund: ¥700,000 per employee. For companies in emerging or growing industries with any employees aged 30–60 who lost work and are mediated by PESO. Industries:

Emergency Employment Incentive fund, Specific Region: ¥300,000 per person. For companies in local areas with unemployment from 5-5.4%, and with employees aged 30–60 who lost work and are mediated by PESO.
Probation Employment Incentive Fund: ¥50,000 per month up to 3 months. For companies employing senior citizens, juveniles, disabled, single-again mothers, workers aged 50 or over under probation, single-day workers, or homeless and are mediated by PESO.
3. Employment Growth and Management
Job Security Fund for Adding Personnel – Small- to Medium-Sized Companies: ¥1,400,000 per management innovator up to 5; ¥300,000 per staff up to 5. For new companies, those jumping industries, or those adding divisions that augment staff due to innovation, when such processes are approved by PESO.
Job Security Fund for Adding Personnel - Nursing Care Business: ¥1,400,000 per management innovator; ¥300,000 per staff; ¥90,000 per short-term staff. For companies offering innovation or new types of services in nursing care, or promoting nursing staff training.
4. Employment Innovation Management for Workers Requiring Nursing or Childcare
Compatible Support Incentive Fund for Child-Rearing Workers: ¥300,000 for large companies and ¥400,000 for other. Under PESO, for companies employing child-rearing short-term or flextime staff (up to elementary school entry), when a worker applies for benefits three months consecutively or six months total.
Incentive Fund for Installation of Articles for Nursing Leave and Child-Rearing: ¥300,000 for large companies and ¥400,000 for other. Under PESO, for companies giving nursing leave over 5 days plus annual leave for child-rearing staff (up to elementary school entry), when a worker uses over 10 days in 2 years.
