In such instances, SANSEI can be assigned and prepare the application as the tax agent. As the proxy for the client head office, the tax agent has an important legal presence with the full responsibility for filing applications, monetary tax exchanges, and preservation of documents and records. In fact, even if a notice of dismissal is at any time submitted for the tax agent, that will not produce an exemption for him or her from obligations for any exchanges of past taxes he or she oversaw, or from obligations to join and permit tax inspection for the application period(s) corresponding to his or her assignment.
